Street Sweeping

Monday through Thursday, weather permitting, the Borough sweeps every public street using a mechanical sweeper.

Please note that the sweeper will not operate when the temperature is below freezing to avoid creating ice on the roadways.

Leaf Collection

The Borough’s curbside leaf collection program begins in October through December. The leaf machine follows the same route as your weekly street cleaning (Monday thru Thursday). Please rake all leaves to the curb. Do not place tree branches and or twigs in with the leaves because this clogs up the vacuum unit.

Leaves can also be bagged and placed out in with your regular trash trash collection.
