Yeadon Police Chief’s Kids Design Contest
On January 31st, Chief Anthony Paparo announced a new contest to the community. He called on all the creative children in the Borough of Yeadon to design a new police uniform patch. The Winners’ artwork could appear on the side of police cars and worn by every Yeadon Police Officer. The top 3 designs will be considered in whole or in part for inclusion of the new patch.
At the April 19th legislative meeting, Chief Paparo announced the First, Second (co-winners) and Third place winners and introduced them to the community along with their artwork. The Chief also shared that he had approximately 30 runner ups all of which received a Certificate of Achievement, $5 dollars, McDonalds ice cream coupon and a Yeadon Police and Fire Patch.
The final design will be shared with the community on Flag day! Congrats to the winners and all of the children for their participation!
