Following a March 2017 ruling by a Common Pleas Court judge, every property in Delaware County will undergo property tax reassessment by January 2021. All 200,000 parcels in the county will be reassessed as part of this process, the first mass appraisal of properties in Delaware County since the late 1990s. The reassessment aims to bring a fairer property tax to taxpayers countywide.

To inform residents about what the reassessment means to property owners, the county has developed a website to provide transparency throughout the process.
