Delaware County will hold four Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Events in 2019. All events will take place rain or shine, 9 am to 3 pm. Please note: these are NOT Electronics collection events. Please see the county’s official 2019 HHW flyer for a list of unacceptable items.

Acceptable materials include:

Flammables
– Oil-based Paints and Sealers
– Paint Thinner
– Gasoline, Kerosene
– Heating/Motor Oil
Batteries (Non-Alkaline)
– Lead Acid, Rechargeable & Lithium
Toxics
– Pool Chemicals
– Rust / Paint Remover
– Antifreeze
– Herbicides, Pesticides and Lawn Chemicals
Caustics
– Cleaners / Solvents
– Mercury containing devices
